9/20: Wrap-up / Reviewing & Writing Workshop
Hi Students!
As I previously informed all of you, I will not be in class today. However, my fellow Teaching Assistant LaTasha Nesbitt will be substituting for me. LaTasha also teaches ESL 500 and has great knowledge on what we are currently discussing in class.
What she and I have planned is that you clarify doubts regarding cohesion, coherence, and unity. I only received one question about cohesion, so instead of preparing another PowerPoint presentation on this, I have asked LaTasha to explain the concept to the group. The first half of the class meeting will be dedicated to this.
The second half of the class will be dedicated to a writing workshop. Remember that you were asked to bring a printed copy of your outline, the original copy of your diagnostic exam, and a draft of the essay you have been working on during the past weeks. Like I mentioned in class, please use this time wisely!!
All the best,
L.
