9/13: Body Paragraphs / Supporting Details
Hi students!
Today we will focusing on how an outline helps us gather our ideas for the body paragraphs of our essay.
Please reflect on the feedback I provided on your Diagnostic Exam. Following this Outline Template, make an outline for your essay, taking into consideration the suggestions I gave. After, you should upload your outline to the Dropbox folder you have shared with me.
Think about what makes each paragraph strong. Why do we need each paragraph in an essay? We will learn more about body paragraphs by reading this essay. After you have finished reading, try to answer the questions that follow. We will discuss answers as a group.
Homework: Continue to develop the outline for your essay, now taking into account the supporting details that you will need for each paragraph.
